A quick update on our cleanup at Wimberry Rocks today. I (Stu) was helped by Mark and John from Glossopdale. We headed up from the Dovestone Reservoir car park for a lovely loop round the top of the valley and along the edge to Wimberry.
As we’d been told, there was loads of rubbish shoved down into the gaps between the rocks. We did a good job and collected over 60 plastic bottles, five bags of bin rubbish and about 15 glass bottles and cans. Sadly, there was still more, but we just couldn’t get to it. Plans are afoot for a return trip with the soon-to-be patented Wimberry-stick… Watch this space!

Thanks John and Mark for your company and for coming out to give us a hand. Top job.
